Anomaly #0027 was an entity that used to reside in the main game for the ROBLOX event "ROBLOX Easter Egg Hunt 2012". The anomaly had the appearance of a dark, 33 stud tall figure, wearing the "Bunny Ears" catalog item on its head, and a big bunny tail behind it. The anomaly, at all times, held a medium-sized egg basket, filled with, you guessed it, eggs. It is currently unknown where Anomaly27 came from (see addendum a), as ROBLOX has released nothing about the anomaly to the community.
Anomaly #0027 was initially found on a random small server under the aforementioned "Easter Egg Hunt 2012" game on April 8th, 2012, two days after the event had begun. Anomaly #0027 would wander around the map, collecting basic eggs that had no puzzle attached to, putting them deep into its basket. It is unknown, however, where some eggs would go, as the basket seemed too small for all of the eggs to fit. After a certain time, the anomaly would wander off to an unknown place on the map, where the anomaly would disappear and enter another server.
Anomaly #0027 was very social, and loved interacting with other players. We shall list some interactions that were made with the anomaly:
One player asked the anomaly if they could have a hug, to which the anomaly responded by spreading its arms and giving the player a hug.
One player asked if the anomaly wanted to be friends with them, to which the anomaly responded by nodding excitedly, picking up the player, and giving them a hug.
One player also once complimented the anomaly in various ways, to which the anomaly responded by taking a common egg out of its basket, and giving it to the player.
This one is interesting. One player insulted the anomaly, which caused the anomaly to do something the player described as "crying and running away".
One or two days later, the anomaly started gaining popularity, by being brought up on the forums and by players spreading information to their friends and/or other people about the anomaly and its friendliness towards players.
ROBLOX admins quickly caught up on this, which caused them to lock all servers down, including the one with the anomaly, trapping the anomaly, and putting themselves in the anomaly's server. Players were really worried for Anomaly #0027.
Shortly after, ROBLOX released a statement regarding the anomaly:
"We are sorry for the inconvenience, the ROBLOX Egg Hunt 2012 game has been re-released back into the public.
We have taken care of the problem.
Please do not contact us about this, in any way."
Players were furious. Flooding the forums questioning where it went, which caused the forums to go on lockdown for a short while.
Many videos and other things were made about the anomaly and its disappearance, which we are currently trying to find and restore.
After recent brief interview with semi-popular young former ROBLOX Software Engineer [CONTENT HIDDEN], it is now known that Anomaly #0027, or atleast pieces of it, by his words, could have come from various security holes that had been taken advantage of by old breaches or by underground minor ROBLOX collaborations with strange currently unknown companies.
[CONTENT HIDDEN] has also implied that ROBLOX has already before tampered with the entities 'corpse' to, by his words, "study how such majestic diverse creatures are coherently put together in order to improve how the company manages its official-made content's experience."
This interview has also allowed us to truly confirm such status to the anomaly, as it has been said that Anomaly #0027's remains have been "thrown away to rot in an endless dark void."
Update: We have found a video recorded by users "Wh00psies0EricssoNz" shows him and his friend "SlyneThyFyne" playing what seems like a "memorial game" made for Anomaly #0027, supposedly made by EricssoNz. It is said that said game was deleted by ROBLOX shortly after it started getting attention. The video was donated to us while we were investigating Anomaly #0027, by someone who wishes to stay anonymous.
Here is the recovered video made by EricssoNz: Video
"If you see something unusual, it might be an anomaly."
