Anomaly #0034
Anomaly Surname: "ForumID 34"
Anomaly Type: "Infohazard (Nullified) - Anomalous Webpage Event (Former)"
Risk to Users: Safe
Anomaly Status: Nullified
Anomaly #0034 was a hidden forum page under the "Official Announcements & Rules" category on the Roblox Forum. The page itself, while not accessible under typical methods, was able to be viewed if the user manually changed the ForumID value to '34' on any URL linking back to the Roblox Forum which contained the value. (Refer to Addendum A)
Public archives show Anomaly #0034's forum page was created as early as May 2009. Current census by the #0034 R.A. Investigative Group theorizes that the page was originally an oversight in how new forum pages would be automatically created, being further corroborated by the introduction of a beta-release automatic chat filtering system at the time.
The first threads posted to Anomaly #0034's webpage were created on 05-06-2009, following the page's discovery by an unknown forum user.
For most of its limited existence, Anomaly #0034 was cited as displaying visual bugs to users who interacted with it through posted threads; primarily in the form of missing buttons, UI, or attached user character previews.
A more frequently used exploit by users interacting with Anomaly #0034 was the lack of chat filtering in threads, allowing users to post threads, replies, and messages with no restriction on language or characters.
On 07-11-2009, a thread was created on Anomaly #0034's webpage titled "ForumID=34". Contained in the thread was a single message by user 'test' which contained an embedded link. Upon clicking the link, users would be redirected off of the Roblox Forum page and prompted with an image; the exact description of what it contained being unknown as of writing.
Per census by the #0034 R.A. Investigative Group with currently available evidence and understanding, it is theorized that the viewing of this page would of enabled a script injection that would infect the user's PC with code relevant to Anomaly #0034-1. This is currently speculated.
After the publication of the 'ForumID=34' 07-11-2009 thread, Anomaly #0034's webpage would replace all previous user-made threads with copies of the 'ForumID=34' thread. The entire webpage would be quarantined in the following hours by site admins, including all affected articles being content deleted. A series of threads would be posted and pinned by MrDoomBringer on 07-12-2009, advising users who found the page to not post anything on the forum, banning users who continued to do so.
Despite the quarantine, the page would continue to remain up as late as January 2010 due to possible internal conflicts with the site's beta-release automatic chat filtering system at the time. By February 2010, Anomaly #0034 would be nullified. (Refer to Addendum B)

Anomaly #0034-1
Anomaly Surname: "34"
Anomaly Type: "Entity - Cognitohazard"
Risk to Users: Dangerous
Anomaly Status: Unknown
Anomaly #0034-1 is a humanoid entity closely resembling a standard DynaBlocks beta-release player model. Further descriptive analysis of #0034-1's appearance can not be elaborated upon further without the risk of a server-wide data breach. Additionally, every possible effort should be made to prevent the creation or discovery of additional #0034-1 instances.
The first publicly recorded instance of Anomaly #0034-1 was brought to the attention of R.A. affiliates following the discovery of and reaction to Anomaly #0034's 'ForumID=34' thread. Research conducted by affiliates Joeytheman0519 and GreenFish through public forum investigation and private user testimonies would come to the following conclusion:
Users affected by the link produced in the 'ForumID=34' thread would post publicly that they had seen a "off-putting", "creepy", or "weird" character while in game, proceeding to still see the aforementioned character outside the client.
General consensus between affected users report seeing the character in ads, banners, videos, and other forms of media outside of the Roblox website. During one interview, a user reported that they had continued to see the character "lurking around every corner, just out of view" in places they would visit physically. (Refer to Addendum A)
Out of 26 infected users surveyed by Joeytheman0519 and GreenFish, only 2 would continue to be online beyond the 1 month surveying period. Both were later terminated by Roblox staff for unknown reasons.
Following surveying as of June 2010, all monitoring and documentation of Anomaly #0034-1 is conducted by the #0034 R.A. Investigative Group. Additional information will be added to #0034-1's article if deemed necessary for public safety by Group personnel.
05-11-2010 Interview
Date: May 11, 2010
Interviewee: tricksterman
Interviewer: Joeytheman0519
Notes: It has been around 4 months now since forum 34 has been shut down. We are continuing to find tons of people on the public forums who are still talking about what they saw, but a lot of it keeps getting terminated. Greenfish put me in contact with someone he found who wants to talk about what he saw. Writing this interview for the both of us.
Joeytheman0519: How did you come across forum 34?
tricksterman: some people ingame i was talking to said they had seen some weird stuff on the forums, saying if you changed the link to 34 that it would show a bunch of creepy stuff. obviously i went to check it out myself and just found a page with a ton of spammed pages. when i clicked on one, it had a link and i clicked on that link too and it just took me to a page that closed on itself.
Joeytheman0519: What did the text say under the post?
tricksterman: just read same thing as title
Joeytheman0519: Were you able to get the link of the website you were redirected to?
tricksterman: tried but got nothing it was wiped
Joeytheman0519: Did you see anything after you went to that website?
tricksterman: yea #### man it is a long story. it started off with me seeing some guy with no name popping up in a few games. i mainly play horror stuff so i thought it was just a fm npc or something, but it kept showing up. was going to report it but thought to ask on the forums if anyone else was seeing it too, but people thought it was a troll. i stopped caring for a while but one day i was out at the store, a walmart, and i ####### saw it from the corner of my eye. it was like, lurking around every corner, just out of view pretty much. tried chasing it one time but it just kept disappearing. #### this has happened so many times that i dont really know what to make of it anymore.
Joeytheman0519: You saw it in person?
tricksterman: #### yes, several times now. it keeps popping up everywhere i go and i feel ####### insane for it
Joeytheman0519: How long has this been happening for?
tricksterman: since the start of the year, maybe a bit longer i dont know
Joeytheman0519: The figure that you are seeing, can you describe what it looks like?
tricksterman: [CONTENT HIDDEN]
Joeytheman0519: Alright. If anything else comes up, just let me know. Thank you for your time.
