Surname: "Living Ads"
Type: "Advertisement"
Risk to Users: Dangerous
Status: Nullified
Anomaly #0012 were a series of ads appearing on the ROBLOX website around mid-to-late 2016.
#0012 appeared to be crude copies of multiple popular ROBLOX ads of the time, sporting eerie human eyeballs. Only two #0012 variants have been found, but more are believed to have existed.
When first encountered, #0012 would permanently replace the advertisement slot it was placed in, and the eyes on the adverts would also begin to lock onto the user's cursor, dragging it towards the ad and forcing them to click on it.
Clicking on a #0012 instance would lead to a website named "RoBlocks 2". Unfortunately, only this page was able to be archived, and the download has been lost.
#0012 also allegedly closed the ROBLOX Player if a person who encountered it attempted to open a game, however this cannot be verified.
Sometime during December of 2016, after reports of "#0012" had skyrocketed. Once reports started coming in, ROBLOX had seemingly patched all traces of the anomaly out of the game. This resulted in #0012's anomalous effects being completely nullified.
Following #0012's nullification, the website for "RoBlocks 2" was also taken down. It has been assumed it was taken down because of ROBLOX threatening legal action, however this also cannot be confirmed.
