On April 1st, 2016, a mysterious user, likely a throwaway account, commented under a forum post discussing the April Fools hacking of 2012. They stated that the whole incident was a hoax made by Roblox to cover up something far darker. The post was quickly denounced by moderators and the account was banned.

Another account arrived only minutes later with a similar naming convention, this account dropped more information. They claimed that iTrapped, Ellernate, Caleb224, and all the other people that were reported to be involved were simply not real people, this revived discussion on the incident once again, and moderators swiftly tried to cover this up yet again.

However, just as the mods banned it, another account popped up with a message stating that everyone who didn't believe them was a fool, and that they were "even bigger idiots than whoever let it wreck their stupid game".

This account was banned and no new accounts arrived after. The forums were exploding with posts about this incident, and moderators shut down the forums for a whole day, and got to work on banning any mentions of this incident.

People on the RA team had taken note of this incident but had kept it on the backburner, it wasn't until the team received a tip into it that they began an investigation into what really happened on April 1st, 2012.

They managed to find a few players who were ingame on April 1st 2012, these people said that what was put up on the internet was all completely false. One user refused to describe what he had seen and would only provide images. The first shows his player character dead, with a figure appearing to be a rose with a body in the background skybox, the skybox appears to be red and distorted but resembles a location rather than a sky.

The second image shows a website screenshot featuring a profile with black vines covering it, the avatar is completely black with a rose for a head, most features of the profile are missing, and the username is in a black box with red text, simply saying "fool".

We continued prying for information from the user who provided this image, all he wanted to say was that the second image was taken after he closed out the Roblox game, he said that he "ducked under his desk because that place in the background of the first was making his minds' eye sore".

He then said that a red light came from his monitor, so bright that if he faced his monitor directly it would blind him, followed by what sounded like a person with a deep voice weeping, which slowly faded until it was dead silent. His computer never went below 80% memory usage after that, and he had to get a new one.

After that, this person claimed that there was nothing left to explain, we moved onto our next lead, which was another user who claimed he was present during the incident, however, he was not in game, rather he was on the website in the catalog. His page suddenly freaked out and the "out of memory" screen appeared, he refreshed the page, and when he came back, it was darker, and the banner had changed to a black banner with dark red text saying "April Fools".

He exited the page, freaked out, and the home page had been unchanged, however, a few of his friends were offline, with a "strange custom smiley face". The user tried to close out and get off his computer, however, he found that closing didnt work, the website had crashed, so he shut off his PC. Unfortunately, there were no other witnesses that could be found other than this person.

However. About a week after this, the team managed to stumble upon a goldmine of, if true, undeniably disturbing claims. We came in contact with a former moderator, this former moderator identified himself to us and verified with us that he was indeed, really on the team. He says that he used to work at a physical location for the company, and that he remembers the day of April 1st 2012.

He says that on that day, the team had run across some sort of technical issue and that they were having trouble finding it. Around halfway through his shift, the computers they were working with began to freak out, some screens flickering red, some of them outright shutting down. He said that countless avatars on the sight had their faces rapidly replaced with this creepy custom face with a loopy grin, and that while he was in the middle of searching for a possible cause, his screen began to freak out.

However, this former moderator had epilepsy, and the rapid flickering of the screen triggered an epileptic seizure in his brain. He was hospitalized for around a day or so before being released, they had said that it was a particularly bad seizure, which was why he had been in there for so long.

He immediately came to find out that everyone else that was there, a team of around 20 or so people, were all dead of unknown causes. He was offered to be a part of the "new team of employees" that would be hired after but he simply didn't respond. Nothing was ever made public about this incident other than Roblox stating that they had fired some employees for personal reasons.

He then told us right after this that the same email that had sent him an offer to work on the team sent him an email a day or so after he ignored the work offer email. This email contained no subject, with a message simply stating "april fools", with an image attached depicting a pale figure with a rose for a head in the skybox of a game, which he provided a sketch of for us.
